Nature of the service

Ash Ryben Consulting Inc. provides financial analysis and business strategy to business owners. It is not a law firm, accounting firm, registered investment adviser, lender, mortgage broker, credit repair organization, or debt settlement company, and is not licensed as any of those. Nothing on this site or in any deliverable is legal, tax, accounting, investment, insurance, or lending advice, or an offer to lend or arrange credit.

Representative outcomes

The scenarios shown under "Representative outcomes" are illustrative. They are constructed from debt structures commonly seen among multi-unit youth-sports franchisees and are not descriptions of specific clients or testimonials. Monthly figures are computed from the stated balances, rates, and terms using the same model the assessment uses, under assumptions (for example, an SBA 7(a) rate, a HELOC rate, a consolidation rate) that are disclosed in the workbook and that change with market conditions. Any client's result depends on that client's actual numbers, lender decisions, creditor behavior, timing, and the client's own actions. Past or modeled outcomes do not predict future results.

No guarantee of approval or results

We do not and cannot guarantee loan approval, a particular interest rate or term, a creditor settlement, a credit-score change, tax treatment, or any financial outcome. Strategies involving SBA loans, home equity, retirement plan loans, balance transfers, creditor negotiation, or sale of a business carry risk, including loss of collateral, tax consequences, and effects on credit. The playbooks identify when a licensed professional should be involved; engaging one is your responsibility.

Credit information

We do not obtain consumer credit reports through the intake form. A credit report is obtained only with your separate, signed written authorization, and where a lending strategy proceeds, by the lender under your authorization to the lender. Credit scores you report to us are treated as self-reported.

Compensation and referrals

Our assessment fee is paid by you. If we introduce you to a lender, attorney, accountant, or other professional, we will tell you in writing before the introduction whether we receive any referral fee or compensation from that party, and you are always free to use someone else. We do not accept compensation that would be contingent on steering you to a particular product.

Relationship to franchisors

Ash Ryben Consulting Inc. is independent. We are not an agent of, and are not endorsed by, any franchisor unless stated in writing. A franchisor may refer franchisees to us; that referral does not make the franchisor responsible for our work, and we do not share your financial information or assessment with a franchisor without your written consent. The principal of ARC may himself operate franchise territories; where that could present a conflict with your engagement, we will disclose it.

Your decisions

You are solely responsible for decisions made using our analysis. Verify figures against your own statements, confirm terms with the lender or creditor in writing before acting, and consult licensed professionals for legal, tax, and investment matters.
